About ASPECT
Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia) is one of Australia’s largest autism-specific service providers, with one of the world’s most extensive autism-specific educational programs. A not-for-profit organisation, we work in partnership with people of all ages on the autism spectrum to co-develop, co-produce and co-deliver supports and services that are individualised, goal-driven and grounded in evidence-based practices.
Our services help people on the autism spectrum realise their individual potential and provide much-needed support for their families, carers, friends and colleagues. Right now, Autistic individuals face persistent barriers to education, employment, and social inclusion
- There are 120,000 Autistic school aged children in Australia. 70% of these students have persistent absences (Autism CRC, 2025)
- The unemployment rate for Autistic people remains at 18.2% which is more than double the rate of people with a disability and three times the rate of people without. (ABS, 2024)
- 70% of Autistic people experience heightened anxiety, depression (Autism Awareness Australia, 2023)
Aspect provides autism specific support at every stage of life
Aspect services include specialist education for Autistic students, diagnostic assessments that provide understanding and support, and tailored therapy that strengthens communication, independence, and wellbeing.
Aspect also delivers programs for Autistic adults focused on life skills, and community participation, along with training and consultancy that help public spaces, events and workplaces become genuinely inclusive.

Services ASPECT Offer
Autism-Specific Education
Aspect operates autism-specific schools and education programs designed to support Autistic students with individualised learning, specialist teaching and a greater understanding of autism-specific needs.
Therapy Services
Aspect provides therapy services including speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychology, positive behaviour support, social work and early childhood supports.
Autism and ADHD Assessments
Aspect offers autism, ADHD, cognitive and learning assessments to help individuals and families better understand support needs and next steps.
Adult and Community Services
Aspect supports Autistic adults through community-based programs, social supports and services designed to promote participation, independence and quality of life.
Autism-Friendly Employment
Aspect works with organisations to create more autism-friendly workplaces and improve employment opportunities and experiences for Autistic people.
Research and Resources
Through the Aspect Research Centre for Autism Practice and its public resources, Aspect contributes to evidence-informed practice, community education and better understanding of autism.
