For a standard home loan you generally do not pay us directly; the lender pays us when the loan settles. Where a scenario needs complex structuring we may charge a fee for service, explained in full before any work starts, with part of it payable only if the loan is approved.

“Any questions we had big or small Les did not hesitate to reply to and would go into detail ensuring we understood the process. Les is so polite and made us feel like we could ask anything knowing he would guide us in the right direction.”
Samuel T, Google review, September 2023
“Mark helped us refinance our home loan and we saved so much money on our repayments. He was super responsive and more than happy to answer all the little questions we had in a way that we could understand.”
Jessica J, Google review, December 2020
“Les and Mark were wonderful throughout the entire process, providing expert advice to secure the exact deal I needed for my financial goals. Communication was excellent, and they kept me informed every step of the way. My application went through smoothly with the bank and settled right on time.”

A senior broker on the phone, not a form on a screen
Most Australians already use a broker without walking into one. Brokers wrote 81.6 per cent of new home loans in the June 2026 quarter, a record, and a large share of those files ran by phone and email from first call to settlement. What an online broker adds is what a good local one does: a person who reads your file, knows which lenders will take it and is legally bound to act in your best interests, which a bank’s app is not. Ours are senior brokers, the same people from first call to last.
The 2026 market is the strongest argument for a broker who is not tied to one city. National dwelling values fell for a fifth straight month in August and sit 3.6 per cent below their March peak, yet they are still 2.7 per cent up on a year ago. Underneath that, Sydney and Melbourne are down 4.6 and 4.7 per cent over the year while Perth is up 15.6, Brisbane 10.8 and the combined regional markets 7.7 against 1.1 for the capitals. Lender appetite, valuations and postcode policy move with those numbers.
The files that come to us this way have a shape. A nurse in regional NSW whose postcode drops the maximum loan at some lenders. A FIFO operator whose roster income a bank’s calculator cannot read. An engineer in Singapore whose salary is shaded before it is assessed and who needs identity verified without a branch. A sole trader whose lodged returns lag the real trading. An investor in Adelaide buying in Brisbane. We work closely with 15 to 20 commercial and specialist lenders, and we know which will look at each of those files.
In practice it runs like this. A first call to understand what you are trying to do and where. A document list, collected through a secure portal, not a chain of emails. Identity verified through a lender-accepted digital check, and a video call where a screen helps: reading a valuation, walking through a structure, comparing two offers. Applications lodged and signed online, settlement handled with your conveyancer wherever they are. A few lenders still post documents for a wet signature; we tell you which before you choose. Our Sydney CBD office is there if you want it. Most never do.

Business and industry
The four largest industries employ about one worker in nine, and a third of Australians were born somewhere else. That is a lot of trading businesses, contractor incomes and foreign-earned dollars a bank’s online form cannot read. Do I ever need to come into an office?
No. The whole file runs by phone, video and email in business hours, Sydney time: a first call, documents through a secure portal, identity verified digitally and signing online. Our home office is in Sydney CBD at Level 5, 115 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000 if you are in town and want to sit down with someone, and Parramatta and Penrith are available too, but most clients on this page never use any of them.
Can you arrange a loan if I live in regional NSW or interstate?
Yes. Location changes the lender, not the service. Many lenders group postcodes into categories that set the maximum loan size or the deposit they need, and some will not lend on certain security types, larger land holdings or towns with a thin resale market. We check the postcode and the security against lender policy before anything is lodged, which is the check a bank’s online form skips.
I live overseas. Can I still get an Australian home loan?
Usually, if you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident. Lenders generally discount foreign-currency income, sometimes heavily, accept fewer currencies than you might expect and want identity verified through an approved process without a branch visit. The number of lenders that write expat loans is smaller than the number that write ordinary home loans, and their terms differ, so we match the file to the lender before you apply.
How do I sign anything if we never meet?
Almost all of it is done online. Identity is verified through a digital check the lender accepts, applications are signed electronically and loan documents are increasingly issued the same way. A few lenders still post documents for a wet signature, and some documents must be witnessed by a qualified person where you are, so we tell you which lenders do what before you choose one.
What is the difference between you and an online lender or an app?
A lender’s app assesses you against that lender’s rules and gives you that lender’s answer. A broker is bound by a legal duty to act in your best interests and can place the same file with many lenders, choosing the one whose policy suits your income, postcode and property. On this service the person doing that is a senior broker, and the same one from the first call to settlement.
